I moved to Indian Village almost 10 years ago when my whole family fell in love with this amazing neighborhood. As a Police Officer, I knew this was by far the safest neighborhood in the County and I could not wait to raise my family here.
I am currently the Public Safety Instructor at the Mecosta Osceola Career Center, a Police Officer at the Newaygo Police Department, and a Volleyball Coach for Big Rapids High School.
I am excited about bringing some neighborhood events to Indian Village where neighbors can get to know each other beyond the simple wave on the street. I am honored to be taking on the President position in this beautiful neighborhood.

I am a newer resident to Indian Village but NOT new to Big Rapids. As a 1993 graduate of Ferris State University, I have only missed 4 homecomings in 30 years.
Big Rapids has always been a second home to me, so when given the chance to have a second home in the Midwest, Indian Village was the choice! Many of you have shared stories about my Uncle Bob (the Jeweler) - and I thank you for walking me down memory lane. It's fun to know that a Wyckoff will have been in this house since the early 70's.
I split my time between Big Rapids and Denver, CO. I'm the Founder of Social Media Energy and many days you might find me with a camera in my hand. Feel free to contact me anytime - I'm always available for neighbors!

I moved to Big Rapids from New Jersey in 2013 with the goal to raise our daughter in a place submerged in amazing nature and a friendly, safe neighborhood. These two things I did not have growing up. Indian Village has not only made that goal achievable, it has also become my little Nirvana.
Professionally, I am a Senior Project Manager for Laboratory Corporation of America's Globia Medical Device and Diagnostics Research Division. Since a part of our home serves as my office, you may have seen us working on the front porch during the warmer months, waving hello to many that pass in the afternoons.

My family has called Indian Village home since 2017. We love the quiet roads for walks and bike rides. We also enjoy all the wildlife that we get to see. My favorite critters to see are the foxes and the owls.
Originally from Cheboygan, I moved to Big Rapids in 2006 to go to Ferris where I met my husband and I just never left. I love it here. I am a dental hygienist and work in public health. I also am a clinical instructor in the dental hygiene clinic at Ferris. My husband and I have two little boys (ages 5 &7) and we gladly share our home with my husband’s parents. We are a busy household!
Shortly after I moved here, I joined the Indian Village board and held the role of co-vice president for four years. Since I became busy going back to school for my Master’s in Public Health, I stepped back and am now the secretary. I am happy to serve on the board and look forward to meeting more of my neighbors.
